1. Intellectual property

The retirement planning tool (hereinafter “CalculRetraite”) is the property of PlanifRetraite inc. and is subject to all intellectual property rights under the Copyright Act of Canada. With the exception of the license selected at the time of purchase and the rights associated therewith, any unauthorized reproduction or communication of CalculRetraite is strictly prohibited and subject to the penalties and legal proceedings provided for by law.

2. Personal Use License

If you purchase a personal use license for CalculRetraite, you are only authorized, for a period of one (1) year, to consult and adapt CalculRetraite for personal use, all subject to penalties and legal proceedings provided for by law. To use the CalculRetraite for professional purposes, please select the commercial use license.

3. Professional use license

If you proceed with the purchase of a license for professional use of CalculRetraite, you are only authorized, for a period of one (1) year, to consult and adapt CalculRetraite in order to support your usual commercial or professional activities. However, you are prohibited from publishing, distributing or selling the CalculRetraite, or from earning any income by granting any rights whatsoever to a third party, all subject to the penalties and legal proceedings provided for by law.

4. Limitation of Liability

CalculRetraite is professionally prepared and aims to help you with your financial planning for retirement. However, CalculRetraite remains a calculation tool based on the user's figures and assumptions, so that the designer cannot guarantee its conformity or its usefulness for the specific needs of the user. Consequently, PlanifRetraite inc. disclaims any warranty or condition, implicit or explicit, with respect to CalculRetraite. We recommend that anyone wishing to use the CalculRetraite consult the accounting, tax and/or financial planning professionals necessary to ensure compliance and application of the CalculRetraite to their particular situation. CalculRetraite was not prepared by these professionals and the user remains responsible for consulting the appropriate professionals when required. PlanifRetraite inc. cannot be held liable for any damage or loss suffered following an error in the entry, compilation, interpretation, presentation, communication or updating of the CalculRetraite or the information contained therein. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the responsibility of PlanifRetraite inc. for any complaint resulting from the use of CalculRetraite cannot exceed the amounts paid by the user for access to CalculRetraite.
