The cost of the versions is annual. Each year, in December, a new version is made available, that includes tax data for the coming year as well as new features.

If you have purchased RetirePlan - base plan and you find that RetirePlan - Advanced plan would be more suitable for you, you can upgrade in the same year and only pay the difference. If you are in this situation, contact us: info@planifretraite.ca.
You must be on the demo version. You need to switch to one of the available paid versions.
Here's how to renew your numbers while keeping track of your retirement journey:
-
Download the new version of Calculetraite (basic, advanced or professional) without overwriting your old completed file.
-
Fill in all the information in the input data tab according to your figures from the beginning of the year. It may take some time depending on whether you already know your numbers or if you have investments in several banks, for example. I recommend that you pay particular attention to the values indicated in the calculation assumption table (such as the expected returns) as well as the net income necessary for retirement which, according to your consumption, is supposed to increase from year to year following the inflation.
-
Copy your history (year 2019, 2020 and 2021…. depending on which year you started using CalculRetraite) from the “Results details” tab of your previous file and paste it into your new file.
CAUTION, you must:
- Use special paste (right click) to paste only values and not formulas
- Check that you paste your data in the right columns because from one version to another I have sometimes added columns to improve the calculator.
Here you have your financial statement for the new year:
-
The "Actual versus planned" column: allows you to see the difference between the total capital that the file had calculated for you for the end of the previous year and your current figures (ideally at the beginning of the year).
-
"Real savings": which you must enter manually and which allows you to see if you and your spouse have saved as much during the year as expected.
